Changes & Cancellations

If you'd like to cancel or change your order, please call us as soon as possible — dial 0800 368 0673 within the UK or click here for phone numbers outside of the UK. We'll do everything we can to accommodate your request. But please bear in mind that our order-fulfillment and shipping systems are designed to get orders on their way quickly and efficiently, and we cannot change or cancel an order once it has entered the shipping process. You can return products after receipt in accordance with our Returns Policy or your right to cancel.

Please note: if you cancel an item that qualified you for a promotion or special deal, you may no longer receive that discount or promotion.

Right of withdrawal

The withdrawal period ("Cancellation Period") will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods. To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Gap Europe Limited) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory. This form should be sent to us either by email to custserv@gap.co.uk (if you live in the United Kingdom) or custserv@gap.eu (if you live elsewhere in the European Union) or by post to Gap EHQ, Freepost WD 3719, Castle Mound Way, Rugby, Warwickshire, CV230BR, United Kingdom, for the attention of Customer Services. You can also phone us to inform us of this at 0800 368 0674 (from the United Kingdom) or +1 614 744 3997 (from anywhere else in the European Union).

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the Cancellation Period has expired.

You shall send back the goods to us, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

This provision does not affect your statutory rights.

To exercise this right of cancellation:

  2. Follow the returns instructions as laid out in the Returns section of this site.

Please note that if you fail to take reasonable care of returned goods or fail to return the goods to us, we will be entitled to make a claim against you for any losses which we suffer.

If your goods are faulty or do not meet the description given on the site, we will refund the value of your order for those goods. For more information on how to return goods to us please refer to the Return Policy section of the site.

We recommend that returned goods be sent via insured, traceable delivery for your protection.

Please note that you do not have a cancellation right with regards to customized products. Occasionally, orders or parts of an order are cancelled by our system for various reasons. Some reasons are:

  • Item(s) not available

  • Problem processing your payment information

  • Shipping not possible to provided address

  • Duplicate order was placed

If your order is cancelled by us, you will receive an email which will explain the reason for the cancellation. You will not be billed for any cancelled items. If you are interested in alternative products, please contact our Customer Service Team by email or by calling 1 (800) 555 0199 for a recommendation.
